GDB Paints & Coatings is the largest paint recycling company in the world. With a footprints across 6 continents, this multi-national recycles millions of gallons of paint each year.

Given its 25 year legacy and the nature of its business, the brand perception is not in line with the younger audience. To change this, we conceptualised a brand film that would bring to light the fun side of GDB’s culture. With the COVID pandemic peaking across the world, undertaking a 3 day shoot in Nashville, Illinois was challenging. Our director and producer oversaw the shoot remotely from Mumbai, India while the cinematographers carefully executed the planned shot list. At the edit table, this project allowed us to express ourselves to the fullest. This shows in the edit style and music.

The final output was an exciting film that uplifts the ‘industrial’ outlook of GDB’s.
